The smart-D 210 high-voltage discharger is designed to fully discharge 100 kV in less than one second. In contrast to the grounding switch, no current peaks occur during the discharging process. Thanks to the smart-D 210, it is possible to move directly after the application process, e.g. into a bellcleaner, without any waiting time. This massively reduces the cycle times during electrostatic painting. The smart-D 210 can be installed in any position, e.g. directly on the robot arm in zone 2/22. The smart-D 210 is oil-free and maintenance-free. It is designed for over 1 million switching cycles and is extremely robust.
